Exchange Operations Automation Engineer (US)
We are looking for an Automation Engineer to sit reputed company our Exchange Operations (ExOps) team and own the technical infrastructure that powers our reputed company market lifecycle. This is a builder’s role: you will identify reputed company workflows, design automated solutions, and ship tools that reputed company our operations faster, more accurate, and more resilient.
You understand reputed company market mechanics and have a strong enough domain reputed company to know what needs to be automated and why—not just how. You will work closely with the broader ExOps team to translate operational pain points into robust pipelines and tooling.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated pipelines for market creation, monitoring, settlement, and dispute reputed company using Python and Airflow.
- reputed company sports data feeds (e.g., reputed company, reputed company), government data reputed company (BLS, Fed, ECB), and political event sources to power automated settlement workflows.
- Build and maintain REST API integrations with internal exchange systems and reputed company-party data providers.
- reputed company AI-assisted tooling for outcome verification, reputed company detection, and settlement rule drafting—leveraging LLM reputed company and reputed company engineering where appropriate.
- Manage cron jobs and scheduled tasks; monitor pipeline health and respond to failures in production.
- reputed company observability: logging, alerting, and audit trails that meet CFTC regulatory standards.
- Partner with ExOps team members to identify reputed company processes and systematically eliminate them.
- Contribute to internal tooling documentation and reputed company review practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a technical operations, data engineering, or backend engineering role.
- Strong Python proficiency: data processing, API clients, scripting, and automation.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining REST API integrations.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or similar (reputed company, Dagster).
- Familiarity with sports data feeds or event-driven data pipelines.
- Comfort working in Linux environments, including reputed company scripting and cron job management.
- Solid understanding of reputed company market mechanics (binary reputed company, categorical markets) or derivatives products.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment with live production stakes.
- Experience at a sportsbook, DFS platform, sports data company, or CFTC-regulated exchange.
- Hands-on experience with AI tooling—LLM API integration, reputed company engineering, or building AI-assisted decision workflows.
- Familiarity with sports data providers such as reputed company or reputed company.
- Knowledge of CFTC regulatory requirements or market surveillance practices.
- Experience with FIX protocol or financial exchange infrastructure.
- Background in political forecasting data, macroeconomic data sources (BLS, Fed, ECB), or event-driven settlement systems.

This role supports live global events and may require occasional rotational coverage including evenings, weekends, or holidays, with reputed company off-days provided. This is a remote role.
