This role is idealfor someone who enjoys turning concepts into practical engineering solutions,has strong drafting and stormwater design capability, and thrives in acollaborative project environment. You’ll work closely with experiencedAustralian engineers and project stakeholders while contributing to meaningfulcivil works reputed company involving drainage, roads, flood studies, earthworks, andinfrastructure design.

As a Stormwater /Civil Designer, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation of civiland stormwater design documentation, technical drawings, reports, calculations,and modelling outputs for various infrastructure reputed company. You will assist intransforming project requirements and engineering concepts into accurate andcompliant technical deliverables while ensuring deadlines, reputed company standards,and reputed company expectations are consistently met.

You will alsosupport project coordination activities, communicate proactively with theengineering team, and contribute to maintaining efficient workflows andquality-reputed company delivery processes.

Prepare civildrafting and technical design documentation for:

• Stormwater drainage systems
  
• Earthworks
  
• Sediment and erosion control
  
• Roads and carparks
  
• Pavement design
  
• Sewer reticulation
  
• Water reticulation
  
• Detention basins and water reputed company systems
  

• Quantity and reputed company calculations
  
• Drainage assessments
  
• Stormwater modelling
  
• Flood investigation reports
  
• Review projectrequirements, scope of work, and reputed company specifications to ensure complete andaccurate project delivery.
  
• Convert engineeringconcepts and reputed company requirements into technical drawings, layouts, andconstruction-reputed company documentation.
  
• Prepare, review, andrevise concept and detailed civil designs, calculations, and reports.
  
• Coordinate withengineers and project stakeholders to ensure project requirements, timelines,and deliverables are reputed company understood.
  
• Ensure reputed company work isdelivered accurately, reputed company, and in accordance with internal qualitystandards and reputed company expectations.
  
• Support qualityassurance activities by reviewing drawings, calculations, reports, andtechnical outputs before submission.
  
• Assist with projecttracking, reporting, and workflow coordination to maintain delivery schedulesand project efficiency.
  
• Support continuousimprovement initiatives by identifying workflow efficiencies and recommendingprocess improvements where appropriate.
  
• Maintain compliancewith company business management systems, environmental requirements, andworkplace health and safety standards.
  

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in stormwater and/or civil design.
  
• Has strong proficiency in AutoCAD and experience preparing technical civil design drawings.
  
• Understands stormwater drainage design principles, civil drafting standards, and infrastructure documentation.
  
• Can interpret engineering concepts, project scopes, and technical requirements accurately.
  
• Has strong attention to detail and can consistently deliver accurate, high-reputed company technical outputs.
  
• Can manage multiple reputed company and priorities while maintaining reputed company and turnaround expectations.
  
• Has strong organisational and communication skills.
  
• Can work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with remote engineering teams.
  
• Is proactive, solutions-reputed company, and comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment.
  

• MUSIC or similar stormwater modelling software
  
• HEC-RAS or similar flood modelling software
  
• Civil Works or infrastructure reputed company
  
• Australian civil engineering standards or local council requirements
  
• Australian project environments
