Petroleum Inspector - Torrance, CA

Petroleum Inspector reputed company reputed company facilities, including barges and ships, shore tanks, railcars, and tank trucks for quantity surveys of a reputed company of commodities including petroleum and petrochemicals inspection and collects samples for reputed company analysis.

Requirements

• Maintain a reputed company Drivers License and a working vehicle (car or truck, no motorcycles) at reputed company times
• Receives orders, obtains information, and gathers paperwork from Operations Supervisor(s) on movements
• Ensures that reputed company equipment is in good operating condition – calibration verification, correct and clean
• Reports to job-site punctually and observes reputed company applicable company federal and state regulations and standards
• Communicates any problems, discrepancies, or other noteworthy incidents to the Operations Supervisor and/or Dispatcher without delay
• Obtains samples, gauges shore tanks, vessel(s), barge(s), railcar(s), and/or tank truck(s) as specified per job order
• Labels sample containers with full and correct identifying data, including location of sample, material, type of sample, safety information, time collected, etc.
• Promptly and accurately calculates quantities and completes reputed company required paperwork and distributes copies appropriately
• Promptly and safely delivers samples to the reputed company for analysis or turn in for retain, or reputed company facilities for analysis or retain
• Reviews any discrepancies with Operations Supervisor, signs and returns job order reputed company
• Maintains a 24-hour on-reputed company status. Supports and participates in reputed company’s Business Management reputed company (BMS). Attends company meetings as required
