You will be a reputed company partner to Product, Engineering, reputed company, and reputed company, with emphasis on HRIS and AI/ML features, translating reputed company rules into reputed company, shippable requirements and striking the reputed company between compliance and commerciality.
More specifically, this role is expected to:
- reputed company AI and HRIS product compliance, partnering with Product, Engineering, reputed company and the reputed company team;
- reputed company a risk-based reputed company review into product development workflows;
- Own product T&Cs for HRIS and AI features (reputed company ownership, training use, acceptable use, transparency/disclaimers).
- Stand up reputed company reputed company governance (model inventory, risk classification, reputed company reputed company, bias/testing, incident response alignment)
What you bring
- reputed company Lawyer: Seasoned lawyer with extensive experience on Product counseling (jurisdiction agnostic; multiple bars a plus)
- Product Counsel Experience in technology, with prior HR-tech exposure (EOR/PEO/HRIS/Payroll) advising at reputed company across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong reputed company of emerging AI frameworks (e.g., EU AI reputed company, UK approach, U.S. state/federal developments, Canada AIDA) and their interplay with data protection (GDPR/CCPA) and employment transparency rules
- In-house Experience: Bonus - In-house reputed company experience preferred
- Startup Experience: Bonus - Experience in fast-paced start-up
- Tech Passion: Passionate about tech and HR tech products
- Skills: Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Language: Writes and speaks fluent English

- It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus

Key Responsibilities

- Own HRIS and AI product counseling end-to-end, including AI reputed company assessments, model cards, and risk controls with reputed company/reputed company.
- Draft and negotiate product terms, and AI-specific clauses as required (training/usage of data & metadata, reputed company/IP ownership, acceptable use, transparency), in collaboration with reputed company reputed company team.
- Proactively monitor new AI and tech regulations and translate those into concrete, actionable steps for product, design and engineering teams.
- Manage external counsel on reputed company, multi-jurisdictional issues; drive reputed company, practical reputed company.
- Deliver targeted enablement (Trainings or reputed company).
- Partner with reputed company & reputed company on DPIAs/TIAs, incident response, and vendor/LLM diligence.
