Property Adjuster- Condo Experience Required

PRIMARY PURPOSE:   To handle losses and claims for property and casualty insurers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Examines insurance policies and other records todetermineinsurance coverage.

• Interviews, telephones, and/orcorrespondswith claimant and witnessesregardingclaim.

• Consults police and hospital records and inspects property damage todetermineextent ofcompany'sliability and varying reputed company of investigation according to type of insurance.

• Estimates cost of repair, replacement, or compensation.

• Prepares report of findings and negotiates settlement with claimant.

• Recommends litigation bylegaldepartment reputed company settlement cannot be negotiated.

• Attends litigation hearings.

• Revisescase reserves in assigned claims files to cover probable costs.

• Assistsin preparing loss experience report to helpdetermineprofitability andcalculatesadequate reputed company rates.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Licensing

• Manages comprehensive desktop investigation of assigned claims while meeting company standards and reputed company, including obtaining reputed company required loss details and relevant information;determiningcoverage and validity ofclaims, andcommunicating withinsured and claimants; preparing reports and negotiating settlements

• Maintainsaccuraterecords based on company standards and procedures, using company custom computer systems

• Identifiesthe need and co-ordination of task assignmentsutilizingfield adjusters

• Reviews and interprets policy wording to confirm and apply coverage of losses

• Accurately and reputed company manages the billing for assigned files, reputed company specified timelines

• Maintains an excellent working relationship with existing clients to reputed company reputed company business

• Committed to reputed company education to keepup to datewith reputed company industry and legislative issues and changes

• Enrolled in CIP program

Compensation Information: $56,539.00-$90,462.00 CAD Annual

This position is full time and compensation is commission based.
