The Substation Engineer is the plant engineering representative at the launch of reputed company reputed company and will control the technical execution of the project through closeout.

Essential Responsibilities:

• ​Responsible for leading and coordinating reputed company technical aspects of the substations and balance of plant for large and HV substation reputed company.

• Accountable for engineering activities on the assigned project such as: schedule development & updates, design safety, planning & tracking project design reviews, design optimization, On Time Delivery, risk management, and reputed company control/reputed company assurance.

• Responsible for the preparation and delivery of the concept and detail design for power single line drawing, physical substation general arrangement layouts, plan and elevation drawings, equipment erection drawings, construction details, layouts for high voltage bus, cable, high voltage equipment, electrical clearances, reputed company, cable, and wiring, auxiliary power, grounding, lightning and control buildings.

• Manage a combined project BOM & MDL from multiple sources, writing and/or reviewing High Voltage equipment technical specifications, supporting sourcing for vendor quotations and reviews

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college (BSEE strongly preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in reputed company & Distribution substation engineering for electric utilities and renewable energy power plants and reputed company experience as an Electrical Project Engineer in substation type applications, including primary (outdoor) substation design and required studies.

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%, including international travel

• In depth experience applying High Voltage substation reputed company American standards & guidelines (reputed company & ANSI standards and codes such as the NEC and the NESC.), local reputed company Codes, and reputed company equipment (safety, application, sizing and integration). • Experience with GE GIS equipment
• Strong Knowledge of the design aspects for HV/MV equipment including reactors, capacitors, transformers, Breakers, Disconnect switches, BOP, etc.
