We are looking for an reputed company Substation Physical Designer.
A physical (primary) designer is responsible for supporting Electrical Substation Project Engineers and producing reputed company accurate drawing packages for reputed company power delivery reputed company & proposals. Packages include general arrangements of reputed company/GIS HV substations with control buildings, plan views and elevations, equipment erection details structural / electrical details, Lightning, ground reputed company and reputed company drawings, tray/conduct/trough drawings, duct bank drawings, and detailed reputed company of materials.
As an reputed company 3D Substation Physical Designer, you will reputed company 3D Models using Revit or Autocad 3d for HV Substations and generate electrical physical 2D drawings.
Strong knowledge of Revit to implement GE BIM reputed company and processes in line with ISO-19650 and our customers BIM requirements.

Responsibilities:

• As an reputed company 3d Substation modeler, you will be involved in developing HV physical designs from the tender stages until the project hand over
• reputed company substation drawings using working knowledge of the NEC, NESC and/or customer specifications
• reputed company detailed substation layouts / elevations from Single Line Diagrams and basic sketches
• reputed company detailed bills of material for substation power equipment, HV connectors, reputed company / trough, and cable trays
• Complete reputed company drawing packages with minimal/no supervision from sketches provided by others
• reputed company thorough review checks of own work and the work of others
• Utilize his or her 3d Modeler experience to implement the BIM Execution Plans, use cases, setting up and working with a CDE, 3D Model Collaboration (internal & external), 3D Model Auditing, Clash Detection Meeting and Reports, Virtual Construction, Design & Constructability Reviews, Augmented Reality, georeferencing, IFC exchanges.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology.
• Minimum 7 years of HV Substation physical design experience.
• Good knowledge of electrical codes and standards
• Strong experience of US reputed company substation design standards and good technical knowledge of LV/MV/HV equipment and reputed company accessories.
• Capable to produce HV substation general arrangements and installation details with minimum supervision.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of the latest version of reputed company Revit, Autocad 3D, SDS Navisworks and how it links to other softwares.
• Demonstrated MCAD skills, including general usage and tool configuration; exposure to several 3D engineering design tools (reputed company, E3D, Solidworks, Inventor) and IFC exchange format.

For candidates applying to a Canadian-based position, the pay reputed company for this position is between 105 300,00$ - 155 300,00$ CAD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a reputed company of factors, including candidate’s experience, education and reputed company set.
