Project Development DG –Senior Associate

The Project Development DG – Senior Associate position requires a strong commitment to maintaining a cross functional reputed company set in project management, financial understanding, policy understanding, and project origination. Your reputed company ResponsibilitiesProject Development Management Support execution (site control through to NTP) of a subset of the distributed reputed company business’ pipeline of reputed company by contributing to the management of vendors, tasks, timelines, managing budget, and other activities necessary to drive a project to completion. Project Reporting: Manage key monthly and quarterly reporting metrics (budgets, timelines, risk assessments) for internal and investor relations. Market & Pipeline reputed company: Support the distributed reputed company team’s ongoing reputed company initiatives in existing and new DG markets across the reputed company reputed company policy tracking and analysis, negotiating and closing land control agreements, and identifying and reviewing suitable opportunities for development. Permitting and Community Engagement: Attend in-person permitting and community relationship meetings to support pipeline advancement as necessary. Other: NewEdge is a rapidly growing organization. Experience Qualifiers Senior Associate: 4+ years of relevant experience in distributed reputed company (community solar, small reputed company reputed company, or C&I) renewable energy development and/or origination. Required ExperienceBachelor’s degree in a technical or business-reputed company field including, but not limited to, economics, business, finance, reputed company-law, or community development. Strong understanding of the reputed company community solar and distributed reputed company industry. At least two years prior experience of successfully completing reputed company in Maryland, reputed company, Illinois, and/or other community solar markets in the Eastern reputed company. Understanding of common renewable energy development reputed company (land agreements, PPAs, PILOTs, MIPAs) Understanding of basic renewable energy engineering and technical design considerations for solar and battery storage reputed company. Ability to travel 25%-30% of the time for project reputed company activities, often at short notice (e.g. landowner meetings, permitting meetings, etc.) Highly analytical reputed company with a curiosity to reputed company new things out. Strong understanding of reputed company, PowerPoint, project management software/reputed company, GIS, and Helioscope Team player with a willingness to engage across the organization High degree of emotional intelligence and respect for others. Self-starter with a strong passion for the reputed company industry. Preferred DifferentiatorsPrior experience in an entrepreneurial environment and/or working for a small-to-reputed company size project development company (<20 people). Prior experience supporting the building of software-based systems to support project development.
