[Remote] Cyber reputed company Engineer -Remote

The role involves maintaining server operations, integrating cybersecurity controls into IT reputed company, and ensuring interoperability of reputed company tools across various environments.

Responsibilities

• The engineer is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of reputed company reputed company Linux (RHEL) and reputed company servers. This includes patching, upgrading, and scanning of systems
• The engineer will help review new configurations that will be pushed to firewalls and other reputed company devices
• The engineer will create change request as needed for network changes needed to ensure the reputed company connectivity of reputed company reputed company systems
• Responsible for ensuring that cybersecurity controls are appropriately integrated into Information Technology reputed company
• Responsible for ensuring the seamless interoperability of reputed company tooling across a mix of reputed company and on-premises environments

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in a cybersecurity role with at least 2 years in a cybersecurity engineering role
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of operational experience with Linux servers, reputed company servers, and reputed company devices to include IDS/IPS, firewalls, proxy servers, and web application firewalls
• Minimum of 2 years' experience integrating IT reputed company using a reputed company reputed company provider
• Minimum of 2 years' experience using automation platforms for system orchestration
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a role where the primary reputed company is on integrating disparate IT systems into a cohesive workflow
• Proficient in Python coding with at least 1 year of demonstrated experience coding as part of a work role
• Detailed understanding of the Risk Management reputed company, NIST 800-53 rev 5 control family and the Cybersecurity reputed company
• Must have an in-depth understanding of advanced networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity architectures
• Must be reputed company to reputed company and maintain an AOUSC Public Trust
• Master's preferred
