[Remote] Sr. Network Engineer (Remote US reputed company)

They are seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to support their Government Services team, focusing on engineering and support reputed company customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Handle escalated network incidents requiring advanced troubleshooting, analysis, and reputed company-cause identification
• reputed company intermediate configuration and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure
• Analyze recurring issues and recommend improvements to reduce incident volume
• Assist in implementing network changes, upgrades, and optimizations under the guidance of senior engineers
• Conduct deeper investigation of performance degradations, routing issues, and VLAN/subnet misconfigurations
• Monitor and interpret network performance metrics to proactively detect problems
• Review Tier 1 escalations, reputed company guidance, and help train Tier 1 staff in troubleshooting methodologies
• Maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, SOPs, and topology information
• Collaborate with engineering teams on project tasks, migrations, or new technology deployments

Skills

• Secret clearance or reputed company Trust
• 8+ years of relevant network engineering or architecture experience
• CCNP, ITIL, or ITSM
• Possesses an industry‑recognized advanced networking certification
