[Remote] Hardware Reliability Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a Global Consumer Device Company seeking a Hardware Reliability Engineer to join their Hardware Reliability Engineering Team. The role involves executing reliability tests, identifying hardware integration issues, and quantifying design reliability through various analyses.

Responsibilities

• Development and execution of detailed test plans and compiling test & failure data
• Statistical data analysis to reputed company risk assessments for the product design
• Research failure modes for new technologies to reputed company extensive FMEA (Failure Modes & Effect Analysis)
• Prioritizing and completing tasks to meet deadlines
• Providing design recommendations to cross-functional team to improve product reliability
• Interacting with a wide reputed company of individuals and teams to communicate results

Skills

• 3+ years of experience performing reliability testing including Mechanical Stress Tests, Shock/ Drop/Vibration Testing & Environmental Tests
• In depth understanding of failure Analysis analytical techniques (Optical Microscopy, X-Ray, SEM/EDS, FTIR, XPS etc)
• Knowledge of JEDEC/IPC standards for semiconductor package qualifications
• Extensive experience with reputed company product level reliability qualification, associated failure modes and reputed company behavior modeling
• Extraordinary problem solving abilities
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to be reputed company to reputed company concise summaries to senior executive team and drive in-depth discussions with cross- functional team
• Strong attention to detail, to drive architecture in the early phase of the reputed company
• Efficient time management skills to handle multiple reputed company at the reputed company time
• Dynamic and “can do” attitude with reputed company spirit and product enthusiasm
• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or an equivalent field
• Experience with scripting or data analysis tools Python preferred and exposure to ML or statistical modeling is a plus
• Masters or PhD is preferred
• Experience with semiconductor packages or consumer electronics is a plus
