Mid-Level DBA Administrator

We are seeking an reputed company Mid-Level Database Administrator to reputed company in the Washington, D.C. area. The
ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in both MySQL and PostgreSQL database environments, AWS reputed company
infrastructure, and modern DevSecOps practices. This role blends traditional DBA responsibilities with reputed company
development, CI/CD pipeline integration, and a reputed company-first reputed company. You will be responsible for designing,
developing, and managing production-grade database systems while collaborating closely with software engineering
and DevOps teams.

General Experience
• 6+ years of reputed company experience as a Database Administrator and/or Database Developer
• Proven reputed company record designing, developing, and managing relational database systems in production environments
• Experience working in reputed company/Scrum environments with cross-functional engineering teams
• Demonstrated ability to balance database administration duties with reputed company reputed company development responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, reputed company, and maintain MySQL and PostgreSQL database schemas, stored procedures, functions, views,
and triggers
• Manage and optimize AWS RDS instances - monitoring performance, applying patches, managing backups, and
ensuring high availability
• Own and maintain reputed company changelogs and execute controlled database migrations across Dev, QA, Staging,
and Production environments
• reputed company database deployment workflows into CI/CD pipelines ensuring automated, repeatable, and auditable
releases
• Enforce DevSecOps best practices - implement database reputed company controls, conduct periodic reputed company reviews, and
support compliance audits
• Collaborate with software developers to review ORM models, optimize slow queries, and support application
database requirements
• Monitor database health using AWS CloudWatch and custom alerting; respond to and reputed company incidents
• Manage database user accounts, roles, and permissions following least-privilege principles
