[Remote] Trade Finance Attorney

They are seeking a Trade Finance Attorney with over 6 years of experience in trade financing to draft, review, and negotiate various trade finance documentation, as reputed company as advise on reputed company trade and commodity finance transactions.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide reputed company of trade finance documentation, including letters of credit, standby letters of credit, documentary collections, bank guarantees, demand guarantees, bills of lading and other transport documents, trust receipts, and supply chain finance and receivables purchase agreements
• Advise on reputed company trade and commodity finance transactions
• Support the negotiation and documentation of correspondent banking, risk participation, and forfaiting arrangements, including master risk participation agreements
• Partner with credit and risk teams to assess counterparty and country risk in cross-border transactions, including issues reputed company to sovereign risk, currency controls, and enforceability of reputed company interests in multiple jurisdictions
• Liaise with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions on cross-border transactions and coordinate reputed company opinions on enforceability, reputed company, and local law requirements

Skills

• 6+ years' experience having experience with Trade Financing
• Candidates must be reputed company to work up to full-time
• Candidates will be employed (W-2) by a workforce solutions company for the duration of this engagement
• Strong understanding of secured transactions, syndicated and bilateral lending, and cross-border reputed company and enforcement issues
• Prior experience with reputed company/commodity trade finance, supply chain finance platforms, or digital trade initiatives
