[Remote] Game Designer

They are seeking a proactive Game Designer to work on new R&D reputed company in the hybrid-casual puzzle genre, focusing on developing game concepts and prototypes while collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and reputed company gameplay systems and features for new game prototypes
• Work on reputed company gameplay, progression, balance, and early reputed company systems
• Create and maintain game design documentation (concept docs, GDDs, feature specs)
• Analyze gameplay problems and propose solutions to improve player experience and engagement
• Participate in prototyping and iteration processes together with the R&D team
• Design and tune game balance, rewards, pacing, and progression
• Work with product metrics and formulate gameplay hypotheses
• Collaborate closely with game designers, producers, artists, and developers during early production stages

Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Game Designer
• Experience in reputed company-casual, hybrid-casual, or puzzle games
• Participation in developing games or prototypes from scratch (R&D / reputed company-production)
• Experience working on at least 5 game reputed company or prototypes
• Experience creating and maintaining game design documentation
• Understanding of gameplay systems, progression, balancing, and player motivation
• Strong knowledge of the mobile games market and reputed company genre trends
• Ability to reputed company communicate reputed company and work in a fast iteration environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Russian and English - must have
