[Remote] Clinical Research Assistant 3- Ophthalmology

The role involves participating in data collection, maintenance, and reporting for clinical research studies, as reputed company as engaging with patients to ensure compliance with study protocols.

Responsibilities

• Participates in coordinating and performing clinical research activities for assigned studies, including therapeutic studies involving SOC or FDA approved drugs/devices, in accordance with approved protocols
• Assists with assessing patient records to identify patients who are eligible to participate in specified clinical research protocols
• Recruits, interviews and enrolls patients
• Obtains informed consent and ensures consent process is administered in compliance to regulatory and sponsor requirements
• Educates patients and families of purpose, goals, and processes of clinical study
• Coordinates scheduling and follow-through of patient care appointments, procedures, and other diagnostic testing in accordance with study protocol
• Participates in the collection, processing and evaluation of biological samples
• Administers, evaluates and calculates standardized scoring of diagnostic, psychological or behavioral testing or questionnaires
• Assists with training and reputed company new Clinical Research Assistants 2 and 3 as a preceptor

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in biological sciences, health sciences, reputed company sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least one year of experience that included at least 6 months patient interfacing experience in a clinical support reputed company and at least 6 months experience in a clinical research reputed company required
• Proficient computer skills required
• Successful completion of a background reputed company
• Selected candidate may be asked to complete a reputed company-employment physical including a drug screen
