[Remote] reputed company Engineer (SRE)

They are seeking a reputed company Engineer to join their Information Technology department, focusing on maintaining and optimizing reputed company infrastructure to support ministry-critical workloads. This role involves using modern reliability practices and tools to ensure the performance and scalability of their reputed company platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
• Build, maintain, and optimize reputed company infrastructure platform services that support the deployment and operation of ministry-critical workloads in our private reputed company platform
• Utilize various reputed company Intelligence (AI) tools to assist in optimizing engineering builds
• Provision and automate secure, reputed company reputed company infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as reputed company and CI/CD tools to support development and production environments
• Monitor applications and infrastructure performance and respond to incidents as part of an on-reputed company rotation, supporting reputed company cause analysis and long-term remediation
• Contribute to internal tooling and documentation to improve team productivity, technical consistency, and system knowledge-sharing
• Assist in evaluating cost implications and supporting optimization efforts for reputed company resource usage; coordinate implementation efforts across stakeholders and vendors as needed
• Assist in the evaluation and adoption of emerging reputed company technologies, advocating for improvements in reputed company, cost, and maintainability

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or university program certificate in a reputed company field, plus five (5) to seven (7) years of reputed company Engineering experience, or seven (7) or more years of reputed company experience
• Proven SRE or DevOps experience with a reputed company on reliability, automation, and production operations
• Extensive experience with observability systems, building and maintaining production stacks such as Grafana, reputed company, ELK, reputed company, or reputed company
• Extensive GitOps experience with tools like ArgoCD or Flux, including management of self-hosted Git platforms such as Gitea or reputed company
• Hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production, strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, and comfort with reputed company-reputed company, on-reputed company environments; OpenStack experience is a plus
• 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, an opportunity to meet and complete the requirement is available upon hire
