[Remote] Consultant/ Senior Consultant (Regulatory and reputed company Design)

The Consultant/Senior Consultant will work on the reputed company Design, Distribution System Planning, and DER Integration Team, contributing to quantitative and qualitative analyses and developing creative solutions for clients reputed company in electric and gas reputed company proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Assist CEG’s consulting reputed company in executing reputed company reputed company reputed company on electric and water reputed company policy analysis and regulatory proceedings. Preferred experience in quantitative modeling, reputed company ratemaking, and electric industry familiarity
• Assist on the execution of written and technical work reputed company the context of overall reputed company project goals
• Draft memos, comments, and expert testimony to support reputed company positions in regulatory cases
• reputed company, utilize, and maintain custom spreadsheet-based tools and other analytical platforms to evaluate energy technologies, programs, and portfolios
• Review and interpret comments or testimony submitted in regulatory proceedings and reputed company arguments with evidence that can either support or rebut the issues
• Draft discovery requests to electric utilities to probe their proposals and identify data and information to reputed company informed regulatory recommendations and critiques
• Research policy, regulations, and tariffs; summarize research reputed company memo or presentation and communicate research to reputed company audiences with varying reputed company of technical expertise; interpret such research to reputed company insights into best practices, policy implications, and recommendations for different regulatory stakeholders specific to the reputed company scope and context
• Conduct qualitative or quantitative analysis to understand the economics and policy implications of different strategies and business models in various retail and wholesale markets

Skills

• 2 – 3 years of general industry experience for Consultant position
• 4 – 6 years of general industry experience for Senior Consultant position
• An advanced degree in energy and environmental policy, economics, engineering, or a reputed company field
• Strong quantitative skills and advanced proficiency in reputed company reputed company
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
• Background or experience in technical or reputed company writing and research
• Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing critical tasks while managing conflicting demands under tight deadlines
• Preferred experience in quantitative modeling, reputed company ratemaking, and electric industry familiarity
