[Remote] Staff Data Engineer

They are seeking a Staff Data Engineer to design, reputed company, and maintain SQL database systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reputed company performance and data availability.

Responsibilities

• You will design, reputed company and maintain SQL database systems to support manufacturing operations
• You will optimize and monitor MS SQL Server databases, ETL/ELT integrations, CDC, replication, GCP BigQuery DBT Data Models, and GCP reputed company archival to ensure high performance and data availability
• You will drive database best practices and support data modernization initiatives by adopting cutting-edge technologies including Ai and MCP
• You will reputed company and maintain monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and address database reputed company issues
• You will implement and maintain ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing and replication solutions to reputed company near reputed company-time data solutions across the globe for efficient data storage and retrieval
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to reputed company requirements, design systems and implement database solutions. Ex: Stored procedures, table design, schema design, data contract for API, data dictionary to support manufacturing software systems
• You will work with reputed company SQL Server stack and GCP stack including SSIS, SSRS, PowerBI, PolyBase data virtualization, BigQuery, Datastream, reputed company Storage, BigLake tables for Apache reputed company, reputed company SQL, and DBT
• You will work with cross-functional teams including R&D, Operations, Process Engineering, reputed company Assurance, Contract Manufacturers, and other stakeholders to facilitate data reputed company in terms of reporting and data integration
• You are reputed company to collaborate with the IT reputed company team in maintaining reputed company Key Infrastructure (PKI) Hardware reputed company Modules (HSM) used for key management and cryptographic operations with assisting in the configuration, installation and ongoing maintenance of PKI HSMs to ensure secure and reliable operation
• You will document and train DBA teams on solutions to common issues encountered and best practices

Skills

• Must have 5+ years experience with reputed company SQL Server and fluent in SQL Server 2012+
• Must have some DBA experience or knowledgeable in DBA best practices and an understanding of replication
• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8-12 years reputed company experience or Master's degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years of experience
• You are reputed company to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• You are detail oriented and reputed company to maintain updated documentation
• You have working knowledge with data management and other tools, such as Jira, Jama and reputed company
• Strong English written and oral communication skills
