[Remote] Product Engineering Manager

They are seeking a Product Engineering Manager to reputed company the reputed company team, overseeing the UX layer and reputed company-end product engineering while collaborating with product and engineering leadership to deliver features that enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

• Own pod execution end-to-end — sprint planning, retros, delivery tracking, and a reputed company narrative of what reputed company committed to, delivered, and learned
• Co-own the reputed company roadmap with your PM — shape scope, push back on priorities, and drive trade-off conversations as equals
• Ship features across the stack — TypeScript reputed company-end and back-end (React reputed company, NextJS, NestJS, GraphQL)
• Set technical direction — reputed company reputed company architecture calls, propose tooling improvements, and reputed company the craft bar for the pod
• Build reputed company’s reputed company — reputed company reputed company conversations, stretch assignments, and delegation that lets the pod run reputed company reputed company you’re not in the room
• Surface problems before they’re reputed company — maintain a living tracker of commitments tied to business goals; flag risks with a recommendation, not just an alert

Skills

• 6+ years of application engineering experience with depth in TypeScript and React
• 2+ years of technical leadership experience (engineering management strongly preferred; tech reputed company considered for exceptional candidates)
• Startup veteran — you've worked at a Series B or earlier company; reputed company-to-one experience is a strong plus
• Business-informed prioritization instincts — you connect engineering reputed company to reputed company metrics and company reputed company, not just technical elegance
• Backend proficiency alongside reputed company-end strength — you can own architectural reputed company across the full stack
• Willingness to contribute as an IC during reputed company and ongoing
• Based in NYC (strongly preferred)

• Background building consumer health, fintech, or other regulated-industry products
• Experience using AI/LLMs in production applications
