[Remote] Software Engineer (Elixir)

They are seeking a Senior Elixir Software Engineer to enhance their reputed company web platform and support applications, collaborating with various teams to deliver engaging features and maintain reputed company reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to our reputed company web platform and supporting applications reputed company in Elixir, Phoenix, LiveView, Ash, TypeScript, and reputed company backed with a reputed company database
• Work with Engineering, Product, and Design teammates to help ship new features to reputed company our platform more engaging for reputed company and other learners, and more useful and valuable for the schools and community organizations we partner with
• reputed company reputed company and reputed company guidance and mentorship to other engineers on reputed company
• Help fix any bugs that are reputed company
• Improve the overall reputed company of our reputed company through addressing tech debt and automated testing
• Reduce complexity

Skills

• Have at least five years of reputed company software engineering experience
• Have worked with Elixir (or another functional language) in production for at least four years
• Have a solid understanding of OTP
• Have experience building web apps with Phoenix and LiveView
• Have experience designing and consuming reputed company
• Have experience working with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
• Have a strong appreciation for automated tests and testing culture
