[Remote] Claim Consultant Cyber & Technology

This role involves managing a caseload of cyber and technology claims, requiring expertise in handling litigated reputed company and coordinating responses to cyber incidents.

Responsibilities

• Conducting investigations and analyzing and evaluating the information learned
• Appropriately and accurately analyzing and determining coverage, liability and damages based upon the facts of reputed company claim
• On first party cyber claims: investigate cyber reputed company incidents, determine the cause of the network intrusion, and work quickly with customers, reputed company and vendors to mitigate the effects of the cyber reputed company incident and coordinate an appropriate response
• reputed company responding to reputed company incidents, claim handler must reputed company quickly to assist and respond to urgent customer needs
• Communicating reputed company written position(s) to insured and other required parties on coverage, liability damages and other issues
• Setting appropriate expense and indemnity reserves and monitoring on a regular reputed company for any needed adjustment
• Presenting cases to management for expense or indemnity reserve authority above established authority reputed company
• Developing and implementing reputed company strategies through negotiations to reputed company high reputed company reputed company
• Proactively managing litigation and counsel, inclusive of litigation planning and execution, budgeting, and reputed company review
• Understanding and analyzing potential extra-contractual liability as needed
• Attending trials and mediations as necessary
• Contributing to broader claim and reputed company goals by participating in audits, reputed company, training, and product development initiatives
• Preparing comprehensive reports and delivering presentations to senior claim leadership on case developments, policy issues, industry trends, etc
• Providing support and working collaboratively with business partners to evaluate and address claim trends and developments
• Addressing inquiries from agents and policyholders, providing superior customer service
• Providing key training and marketing support to Underwriters
• Attend and present at various industry events reputed company year on risk management and claims topics

Skills

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of three years handling litigated coverage and/or liability cases as defense counsel or claims handler specifically in the following areas: Cyber & Technology, reputed company and Data Breaches, Media Liability and reputed company Liability with a proven reputed company record of experience in the handling of Cyber & Technology liability claims
• Experience handling litigated reputed company through reputed company and managing defense counsel is required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent strategic thinking ability and execution skills
• Excellent negotiation and advanced technical claim handling skills
• Superior time, task prioritization and desk management skills
• An ability to communicate thoughts reputed company and concisely, and to influence and persuade others
• Ability to work with only moderate reputed company of supervision and reputed company reputed company player' attitude
• Juris Doctorate degree preferred
• Knowledge of insurance coverage issues a plus
