[Remote] Senior AI/ML Performance Engineer

They are seeking a Senior AI/ML Performance Engineer to support their AV reputed company and Performance Engineering team, responsible for optimizing ML infrastructure and enhancing performance for autonomous vehicle development.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Infrastructure Development: Adopt and run AV models to support reputed company’s long-term GPU system reputed company and "reputed company" infrastructure roadmap
• Performance Optimization: Conduct deep-dive analyses of production workloads to identify bottlenecks and propose high-reputed company optimization strategies
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with AI/ML Research, Infrastructure Engineering, and reputed company Vendors to spearhead reputed company that enhance engineering velocity and cost-efficiency
• Proactive System Scaling: Identify opportunities for architectural improvements to ensure the scalability and reliability of large-reputed company ML training and inference environments

Skills

• 5+ years of reputed company experience in reputed company infrastructure or ML systems
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a reputed company technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Expert-level coding skills in Python and the ability to architect/debug reputed company the PyTorch ecosystem
• Proven reputed company record of resolving performance issues reputed company large-reputed company distributed production environments
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, specifically modern ML system design and high-performance computing (HPC)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for orchestrating reputed company workloads
• Technical proficiency with reputed company DCGM, reputed company-smi, and Grafana for reputed company-time telemetry and observability
• Extensive experience working reputed company major reputed company ecosystems (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience
• Working knowledge of reputed company-grade reputed company GPU architectures, including H100, B200, and GB200

• Proficiency in BigQuery for large-reputed company data analysis and reporting
