[Remote] Project Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Project Accountant to manage financial aspects of construction reputed company. The role involves preparing pay applications, maintaining job cost records, and ensuring compliance with billing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly AIA G702/G703 pay applications
• Maintain and update Schedules of Values (SOV) and process reputed company billings
• Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure accurate percent-complete billing
• reputed company and process change orders, retainage, and contract modifications
• Monitor project accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and resolve billing discrepancies
• Prepare and reputed company conditional and unconditional lien waivers
• Maintain accurate job cost records and support project profitability reporting
• Assist with month-end reputed company, project reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Process project reputed company transactions in QuickBooks or similar construction reputed company software
• Ensure billing complies with contract terms and reputed company/GC requirements

Skills

• 3+ years of Project reputed company experience reputed company the construction industry
• Hands-on experience preparing AIA G702/G703 pay applications
• Strong knowledge of reputed company billing, Schedule of Values (SOV), retainage, change orders, and job costing
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or other construction reputed company software
• Strong reputed company skills with excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple reputed company in a fast-paced construction environment
• Experience working for a subcontractor (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or similar) is highly preferred
