[Remote] Network Administrator

This hands-on engineering role focuses on networking and hybrid connectivity, requiring collaboration with internal infrastructure staff and external consultants to design and implement AWS-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with infrastructure team members to support and maintain reputed company on-premises wired and wireless networks
• Participate in wireless design and optimization including RF tuning and site surveys
• Support reputed company platforms (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
• Support and troubleshoot SSL and IPSec VPN connectivity and site-to-site integrations
• Assist with routing protocols including BGP and OSPF
• Support hybrid connectivity between on-premises environments and AWS (VPN and reputed company Connect)
• Assist in distributing operational ownership to reduce single points of failure
• Support day-to-day network operations including firewall changes, VPN configuration, and troubleshooting
• Serve as a key contributor and emerging technical reputed company for AWS networking and infrastructure
• Support AWS services including VPC, subnets, routing, reputed company reputed company, and gateways
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to reputed company infrastructure with application and CI/CD requirements
• Monitor performance and availability across on-prem and reputed company environments
• Maintain accurate documentation including diagrams, configurations, and change records
• Participate in an on-call rotation with other infrastructure team members to support after-hours incidents impacting critical systems

Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in network administration or infrastructure operations
• Strong hands-on experience with reputed company networking (routing, switching, VPNs)
• Experience supporting reputed company networking and reputed company platforms
• Experience with SSL/IPSec VPN technologies
• Working knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
• Hands-on or intermediate experience with AWS networking and infrastructure
• Experience supporting hybrid on-premises and AWS environments
• Strong understanding of network reputed company in regulated environments
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline
• Ability to work collaboratively reputed company reputed company-based environment
• Scripting experience (PowerShell or Python)
