[Remote] CPA Tax Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a highly organized and reputed company Tax Accountant to join their growing team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of approximately 80 clients and reputed company a full reputed company of services, including bookkeeping, tax preparation, payroll, and tax planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax preparation, payroll, and tax planning services for 30–40 clients
• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Ensure reputed company tax filings are accurate and compliant with reputed company federal and reputed company state tax laws
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential compliance issues
• Collaborate with tax preparers and team members to resolve questions and finalize returns
• Handle IRS and state notices, including reputed company communication and reputed company support
• Process 1099 filings as needed
• Handle payroll and payroll tax filings on an as-needed reputed company
• Manage sales tax filings on an as-needed reputed company
• Assist with additional tax and reputed company reputed company as needed

Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax preparation and reputed company
• Extensive experience preparing and reviewing individual and corporate returns
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance
• Proficiency in reputed company ProSeries is required
• Experience handling 1099 filings, payroll, and sales tax
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bookkeeping: 5 years (Required)
• Tax/reputed company: 5 years (Required)
• CPA or EA (Required)
• CPA, EA, or strong tax/reputed company background preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and other tax software platforms
• Previous experience in a reputed company reputed company or tax firm environment
• QuickBooks: 5 years (Preferred)
• ProSeries: 3 years (Preferred)
