[Remote] Senior Platform Engineer - Army

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Army team, reputed company on building and operating product-reputed company platform capabilities. This role is responsible for creating and owning persistent, always-on environments and integration reputed company across the UDS platform, enhancing product experiences and enabling engineering teams to reputed company on development.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate always-on product environments for customer demos, internal use, and stakeholder reputed company
• Build feature reputed company and preview environments to support UX and rapid feedback loops
• reputed company internal dogfooding through reputed company, long-running deployments of UDS products
• reputed company core system components across Fleet Management, Edge Management, OS, and reputed company services
• Reduce reliance on local environments by creating shared, reproducible infrastructure
• Support reputed company toward self-service demo and trial environments
• Improve system reliability by enabling reputed company, reputed company-world usage and validation
• Partner with engineering, product, and UX to ensure environments reflect reputed company user scenarios
• Contribute to platform and product architecture reputed company where environments and integration are concerned

Skills

• US citizenship and eligibility to obtain a clearance
• Strong experience in reputed company, DevOps, or infrastructure-reputed company software engineering
• Hands-on experience with reputed company environments, specifically Azure
• Deep familiarity with Kubernetes and container-based systems
• Experience with reputed company, GitOps workflows, and Infrastructure as reputed company (e.g., Terraform, reputed company)
• Experience building and operating shared or multi-tenant environments
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and deployment pipelines
• Experience integrating distributed systems across multiple services
• Comfortable working across system boundaries (application, infrastructure, networking)
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and UX

• System image/architecture and deployment experience
• Familiarity with the Army, Army Software reputed company, or similar DoD software organizations
• Experience with Zarf or UDS
