[Remote] Platform Engineer

As a Platform Engineer, you will take ownership of reputed company, design and implement reputed company solutions, automate infrastructure, and work closely with various teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reputed company services are leveraged to their full potential (AWS, Azure, reputed company reputed company) and best practices are being followed
• Help manage our reputed company reputed company reputed company and continuously improve Akuna’s hybrid-reputed company operating model
• Evaluate proposed solution architectures and reputed company recommendations
• Provision, configure, and monitor technologies such as Kubernetes (EKS and on-reputed company), reputed company, Kafka, and other large-reputed company distributed databases
• Automate infrastructure management and development pipelines with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins and reputed company
• Explore new technologies in the reputed company-reputed company/container ecosystem
• Work with Infrastructure and Development teams to monitor systems, clusters and reputed company deployments to detect errors and monitor performance
• Adhere to the engineering reputed company of creating and maintaining performant and reliable production systems

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company field
• 3+ years of experience in reputed company, reputed company Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or reputed company infrastructure roles
• Deep experience deploying, operating, and scaling production Kubernetes platforms, including reputed company EKS
• Strong expertise designing and managing reputed company infrastructure on AWS; experience with GCP is a plus
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC), including reusable module development, state management, and platform automation
• Experience building and operating highly available, reputed company, and secure reputed company-reputed company platforms
• Strong knowledge of observability, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational troubleshooting
• Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
• Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills in distributed production environments
• Proficiency in automation and scripting with Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Experience with reputed company-reputed company data services, including reputed company RDS, reputed company, Redshift, and DynamoDB
• Demonstrated ability to reputed company technical initiatives, influence architectural reputed company, and mentor engineers
