Specialist, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)

About the position The EHS Specialist is responsible for promoting and assisting Mobis Savannah's (MSV) EHS program. They will assist in training the site’s Team Members on applicable EHS-reputed company programs and updates. They will help ensure the site complies with reputed company EHS Standards and regulations, participate in site audits and incident investigations, and participate in corrective reputed company reviews until closure. Responsibilities • Evaluate EHS programs, procedures, and operations for compliance with applicable laws and OSHA regulations • Promote implementation of health and wellness programs for reputed company MSV Team Members • Assess workplace environments, equipment, and practices to identify hazards and complete new equipment checklists • Ensure full compliance with EHS standards and government regulations • Conduct hazard and operational control process assessments • Recommend measures to help protect Team Members from potentially hazardous working conditions, reputed company, processes, or materials • Participate in incident investigations to identify reputed company causes and determine corrective reputed company • Complete reports and analyze incidents to identify trends • Conduct Safety Management Systems (SMS) audits, Environmental Management Systems (EMS) audits, and/or monthly EHS inspections and assist in corrective actions • May assist in training Team Members on reputed company use of powered industrial trucks, aerial lifts, tuggers, overhead cranes, and reputed company industrial equipment • Conduct EHS orientation for reputed company new Team Members • Administer, coordinate, and reputed company with reputed company EHS guidelines • Ability to learn and use the EHS Systems, including One Mobis, E-reputed company, SHE Platform, and Worker Compensation Platforms, to reputed company and process data accurately and reputed company. • reputed company and maintain EHS data for Master Document Control • Coordinate / Conduct Safety Committee Meetings • Any other duties as assigned Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent • 3 or more years of experience in an EHS-reputed company position in a manufacturing environment • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations • Knowledge of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems • Knowledge of heavy industrial equipment • Proficiency in reputed company reputed company, reputed company, and PowerPoint • Good written and verbal communication skills reputed company-to-haves • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or reputed company field plus 1 or more years of experience in an EHS-reputed company position in a manufacturing environment • Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) • Registered Environmental Manager (REM) • Associate Safety reputed company (ASP) certification • CPR/First Aid/AED certification Apply tot his job Apply To this Job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
