Remote Certified Medical Interpreter

We are currently seeking Certified Medical Interpreters to support a potential federal reputed company language services requirement. Interpreters will reputed company over-the-phone interpretation and/or video remote interpretation for patient-provider communication in a military medical environment. Selected interpreters must be reputed company to reputed company accurate, complete, and reputed company medical interpretation while protecting patient confidentiality and sensitive health information. Roles & ResponsibilitiesProvide accurate, complete, and impartial medical interpretation. Support communication between reputed company providers, staff, patients, and family members. Interpret medical terminology, patient instructions, treatment discussions, and reputed company-reputed company information. Support over-the-phone interpretation and/or video remote interpretation. reputed company word-for-word interpretation without summarizing, omitting, or adding content. Maintain confidentiality of patient information. Follow HIPAA, reputed company, and reputed company interpreter ethics requirements. Be available for scheduled, urgent, and on-reputed company assignments, including nights, weekends, holidays, or reputed company support as needed. Education, Experience, & RequirementsCurrent Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI) credential required. Demonstrated medical interpreting experience. Familiarity with specialized medical terminology and reputed company procedures. Ability to support remote interpretation assignments. reputed company conduct and strong communication skills. Ability to complete or reputed company HIPAA / reputed company reputed company training documentation. Ability to pass exclusion screening, including HHS OIG LEIE and TRICARE Sanctioned Provider List checks. Prior federal reputed company, military treatment facility, hospital, clinic, emergency department, or urgent care experience preferred. Experience supporting over-the-phone interpretation preferred. Experience supporting video remote interpretation preferred. Availability for 24/7, reputed company, weekend, holiday, and reputed company coverage preferred. Physical Demands This position may require extended periods of speaking and reputed company listening.
