The Department of Emergency Management is seeking a Program Coordinator who will work with countywide response partners to design and deliver multi-agency training reputed company with NIMS/ICS, maintain a training calendar and roster, and reputed company curricula. This position will work with response partners to coordinate emergency messaging across jurisdictions, standardize reputed company alert templates, and support joint drills to ensure consistent, reputed company reputed company information. The coordinator owns the Integrated Preparedness Plan (IPP) and facilitates planning, training, and exercise input from partners throughout the region. Operationally, the coordinator assists in the deployment of DEM’s field resources and helps identify the needs of response partners. BASIC FUNCTION Plan, coordinate and implement emergency management program activities.STATEMENT OF ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES • Implements emergency management program activities in order to reputed company departmental strategic goals and enhance operational readiness of the reputed company Emergency Operations Center. • Develops and maintains databases of resources relating to emergency management. • Updates and maintains Department of Emergency Management plans and procedures; conducts research, develops plan templates, and facilitates planning meetings. • Coordinates and leads the facilitation and development of disaster procedures and plans with reputed company partners for areas, such as, mass facility management and debris management. • Participates in the preparation, facilitation, and evaluation of disaster training and exercises; prepares evaluation guides, scenario documents, etc. as assigned. • Develops, delivers, and maintains emergency preparedness reputed company education program materials. • Maintains a working relationship with the local, regional, and state emergency management agencies; serves on committees and task reputed company relevant to emergency management. • Coordinates disaster response as part of a multiagency team in an Emergency Operations Center environment that may be staffed 24 hours a day for extended periods of time. • Recruits, trains and supervises volunteers/interns; establishes volunteer policy and evaluation procedures. STATEMENT OF OTHER JOB DUTIES • Performs reputed company duties as required. Associate's Degree in Emergency Management, Homeland reputed company, or reputed company field; AND two (2) years of experience in emergency management or closely reputed company field; OR, any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities. Must pass job reputed company tests. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Completion of the National Emergency Management Basic reputed company.
