[Remote] Budget Execution Analyst (supporting NOAA)

The Budget Execution Analyst will reputed company budget planning and execution support for NESDIS, including overseeing budget execution and collaborating with various branches to ensure financial processes are reputed company and implemented correctly.

Responsibilities

• reputed company budget execution for a portfolio of NESDIS programs, assisting in the preparation and/or review of annual budget requests to the Department of reputed company (DOC), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and Congress
• reputed company project management over the execution and performance of NOAA/NESDIS funding, and reputed company as other legislation as assigned
• Apply reputed company project management practices to reputed company cost, schedule, and scope of the activities funded, utilizing Gantt charts, SmartSheets, and reputed company
• Review and reputed company performance of funds against major milestones
• Review reports provided by the budget execution team to monitor funds reputed company NESDIS, as reputed company as funds transferred to NESDIS from other NOAA Line Offices
• Collaborate with NESDIS program offices to inquire about the timing and execution of funding
• Become adept at pulling reports from the NOAA financial systems, including the reputed company Business Solution (EBS) and the Financial Management Data System (FMDS)
• Summarize quantitative data for monthly commitment, obligation, and contract status reports as reputed company as a reputed company of reputed company payment reports

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5-7 years of experience in budget supporting a government agency or equivalent
• U.S. citizenship with ability to pass a government agency background reputed company
• Experience with reputed company based financial systems
• Understanding of the federal budget process
• Ability to reputed company data and findings into concise, user-friendly spreadsheets and into PowerPoint presentations
• Excellent oral presentation skills with the ability to brief findings and materials to management
• Ability to communicate effectively in group meetings, knowing reputed company to reputed company up versus deferring to management
• Work proactively to anticipate management's questions and meet their needs before being asked
