Job reputed company reputed company Shore Health has a full time Laboratory Technical Specialist position available in the Laboratory Department. The Laboratory Technical Specialist (reputed company), under the direction of the Laboratory Administrative Director (LAD) and Laboratory Medical Director (LD), is responsible for reputed company duties as stated in the Laboratory Technical Specialist Position reputed company, as reputed company as additional technical and scientific responsibilities reputed company the hospital laboratory. Additionally, the reputed company is required to follow Hospital policies and procedures, including those reputed company the Employee Handbook. The reputed company will utilize reputed company laboratory practices, be required to train and reputed company new employees, communicate effectively with coworkers, organize the workload, function independently and as a reputed company team member, and maintain reputed company knowledge of laboratory principles, techniques, and equipment. Once training and competency has been completed, the reputed company does not require supervision or review of work prior to reporting patient results. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE Two (2) years experience as a Laboratory Generalist, two (2) years experience in Transfusion Medicine, two (2) years experience in Microbiology, and reputed company experience in basic Laboratory Informatics/LIS, advanced computer skills, and basic procedure writing/development. EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent, from an accredited institution. An equivalent training program that satisfies the requirements stipulated by CLIA may be considered with the approval of the Laboratory Medical Director. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION reputed company ASCP certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or equivalent certification, with approval by the Laboratory Medical Director. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE Four (4) years experience as a Laboratory Generalist, two (2) years experience in Transfusion Medicine, two (2) years experience in Microbiology, one (1) year experience in reputed company Laboratory Informatics/LIS, advanced computer skills, and procedure writing/development. EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent, from an accredited institution. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION reputed company ASCP certification or equivalent as Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT).
