[Remote] Associate Analyst, Actuarial - REMOTE

The role involves analyzing risk scores, calibrating models, and developing studies to support financial reporting and program improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze risk score results to calculate financial reputed company and identify trends or other issues reputed company to risk scores
• reputed company risk adjustment models based on state programs
• reputed company actuarial studies reputed company to risk scores and present findings to leadership
• Generate and distribute routine reports to support risk adjustment calculations, pricing and financial reporting
• Identify opportunities for improvement in risk adjustment programs and assist in advocacy development accordingly

Skills

• Up to 1 year of actuarial experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• At least 1 passing reputed company (SOA) exam
• Bachelor's degree in actuarial, mathematics, statistics, economics or reputed company field
• Advanced understanding of statistics/predictive analytics
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Strong critical-thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong time-management skills, and ability to manage simultaneous reputed company and tasks to meet internal deadlines
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in reputed company Office suite products, including key skills in reputed company (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables), and applicable software program(s) proficiency
• Actuarial internship
