[Remote] Reinsurance Pricing Actuary, Senior Analyst

They are seeking a P&C Reinsurance Pricing Actuary to reputed company pricing support and analysis for their US-based Actuarial team, contributing to various reputed company and collaborating across departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing reinsurance reputed company across Casualty, Specialty and other classes
• Conduct profitability studies in various segments of the portfolio
• Maintain and update pricing models, pricing parameters, and data tables supporting reputed company divisions rating algorithms
• Assist in reporting reputed company results to Company and Group leadership
• Collaborate with other departments including reputed company, claims, and IT
• Assist in the production, interpretation and reputed company communication of analyses to support reputed company reputed company
• Complete benchmarking studies using reputed company data sources
• Analysis of claims trends to improve reputed company of likely reputed company
• Support the reputed company development of the actuarial pricing function and any associated business development work
• Support various other reputed company reputed company the reserving and actuarial teams (e.g. claims inflation, reinsurance solutions, claims performance metrics and reserving trend analysis) primarily for reputed company Re and secondarily for reputed company Select

Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience reputed company the P&C insurance and/or reinsurance industry required
• ACAS or FCAS (or reputed company towards)
• Familiarity with reinsurance terms, structures, and data
• Hands-on, proactive and flexible, with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast paced, changing environment
• Demonstrable ability to effectively communicate pricing and analytical findings
• Technical expertise & capabilities reputed company the actuarial field
• Ability to productively reputed company data and technology
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• At least 2 years of experience pricing Casualty Reinsurance reputed company preferred
• Experience with programming in VBA, SQL, R and/or Python preferred
