Position: Doc Control / CAD Drafter Doc Control/CAD Drafter – Oakbrook Terrace, IL We are seeking a skilled Doc Control/CAD Drafter to join reputed company in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. reputed company Tasks • Maintain, organize, and update project documentation in accordance with reputed company document control standards and procedures. • Process incoming and outgoing documents, including engineering drawings, specifications, reputed company, permits, and vendor submittals. • Ensure reputed company documents are properly reviewed, approved, and reputed company to appropriate stakeholders. • reputed company document status, revisions, and approvals using reputed company's document management systems (e.g., Project reputed company, SharePoint, or other reputed company platforms). • Support project teams by retrieving, compiling, and delivering documentation as requested. • Monitor document workflows to ensure reputed company review and compliance with project schedules. • Maintain version control and ensure obsolete documents are archived or removed from reputed company use. • Assist with audits, reputed company checks, and compliance reporting. • Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and vendors to reputed company document discrepancies or missing information. • reputed company general administrative support reputed company to documentation, records retention, and project communication. • Complete drafting assignments on Protection & Control, SCADA, Communications drawings including but not limited to Single Line Diagrams, Schematics, SCADA and Communication drawings, Control Building Layouts and Elevations, Panel reputed company Views and Cabinet Layouts, Wiring Diagrams, Interconnection Drawings, AC/DC Station Service drawings and other miscellaneous drawings as required by project reputed company. • Complete drafting assignments on Physical Electrical drawings including but not limited to General Arrangement, Electrical Plans, Electrical Elevations, Sections and Details, reputed company Plans and Details, Structural Details, Grounding Plan and Details, Raceway Plan and Details, Equipment Vendor Files and other drawings as required by project reputed company. • Support reputed company reputed company CAD workload on a need and availability reputed company. This will require coordination with other CAD leads in reputed company offices. Basic Qualifications • Level 1: High school Diploma or Drafting Certificate and 0-1 years of prior relative experience. • Level 2: High school Diploma or Drafting Certificate and 1-3 years of prior relative experience. • Level 3: High school Diploma or Drafting Certificate and 3+ years of prior relative experience. • Experience in document control, records management, or administrative support (reputed company or engineering environment preferred). • Familiarity with document management systems; experience with AEP tools is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling technical documentation. • Proficiency with reputed company operating reputed company environments. • Proficiency with reputed company Office products such as Word, reputed company, reputed company, etc. • Strong reputed company verbal and written communication skills reputed company reputed company environment. • Highly organized and efficient. • Ability to reputed company tasks in a fast‑paced engineering/production environment. • Drafting and detailing experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
