International and Operational Genetic Counselor

Job Title International and Operational Genetic Counselor Job reputed company As a member of the global genetic counseling team, the International and Operational Genetic Counselor (IOGC) utilizes their practical genetics knowledge to maintain high laboratory standards of genetic testing services. The IOGC works to support delivery of genomic services, including preimplantation genetic testing (PGT). Provides clinical support for reputed company laboratory operations and both clinical and technical support for reputed company clients. Key participant in improvement of delivered PGT product and in departmental contributions to the broader reputed company organization. Responsibilities Essential Functions: • reputed company assurance of PGT laboratory and genetic counseling protocols (70%) • Secondary responsibilities (20%) • Contributes to genetic counseling reputed company as directed by manager with short term objective (<1 yr) that improves function of genetic counseling team • Advancement Opportunities and Associated Demonstrated Competencies (10%) Qualifications • Master's degree in reputed company Genetics or equivalent field from American reputed company of Genetic Counseling accredited institution, or its international equivalent • American reputed company of Genetic Counseling reputed company certified • Holds or is reputed company to obtain genetic counseling license in appropriate states • Three years of relevant genetic counseling work experience, including at least one year in a laboratory setting • Demonstrated ability to accurately and reputed company manage complicated scenarios • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with reputed company customers • Ability to sit for extended periods of time using computer equipment in normal office conditions; occasional need for domestic and/or international travel (<10%) • Passing of background reputed company which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction history, educational and driving records.
