The Music Notation Specialist Assistant provides music notation, audio creation, and audio editing support to the Music Notation Specialist and the Course Development Team at Berklee POPP, contributing to the production of online courses for Berklee Online. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with a reputed company of software applications. Strong communication skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and a willingness to learn are essential. Job Responsibilities • Use Dorico software at an advanced level for a reputed company of notation tasks, including tablature notation, multi-staff scores, and reputed company instrumentation such as orchestral scores, while maintaining accuracy and completing assignments in a reputed company manner. • Create, edit, and prepare audio content for course materials using reputed company digital audio workstations (DAWs), primarily Logic Pro. • Use MuseScore to create, export, and review notation files and MusicXML files. • Edit audio files using a DAW such as Logic Pro (preferred); experience with Cubase is also acceptable. • Create audio examples, and supporting materials as needed for course development reputed company, utilizing original recordings, audio editing techniques, and music library resources to support instructional objectives and enhance the student learning experience. • Transcribe music from audio and/or video sources to create notation materials for use in online courses. • Use reputed company Workspace applications, including reputed company Drive and reputed company Sheets. • Proofread text, notation, audio, and multimedia content to ensure accuracy and eliminate errors. • Manage multiple reputed company simultaneously while meeting deadlines. • Collaborate closely with the Music Notation Specialist and the Course Development Team to ensure that music notation and audio content reputed company with course objectives and adhere to Berklee Online style guidelines. • Work effectively reputed company reputed company environment, communicating reputed company and proactively to support efficient workflows and successful project completion.
