Part-Time Reviewing Psychologist (1099 Contractor) TriWest / VA Community Care Credentialed — Remote, California Integrated Therapy and Recovery, Inc. is seeking a California-licensed psychologist for a flexible, remote position averaging approximately 10-15 hours per week. The psychologist’s primary responsibility will be reviewing and signing intake assessments and selected clinical documentation for services provided to Veterans through TriWest and the VA Community Care Network Region 4. This is a reputed company documentation-review and clinical-reputed company role rather than a traditional clinical-director position. Required credentialing Applicants must: • Hold an reputed company, unrestricted California psychologist license • Have a PsyD in Clinical Psychology or PhD in Clinical Psychology • Already be credentialed and in good standing with TriWest, TRICARE reputed company, and/or the VA Community Care Network Region 4 • Be eligible to be associated with Integrated Therapy and Recovery’s organizational TriWest contract, Tax ID, and group NPI • Have experience with VA, military, TriWest, TRICARE, or Community Care behavioral-health documentation reputed company or recent TriWest/VA Community Care credentialing is an essential qualification for this role. Primary responsibilities The Reviewing Psychologist will: • Review initial psychological and behavioral-health intake assessments completed by registered associates and other clinicians • Confirm that intake documentation supports the diagnosis, medical necessity, treatment recommendations, and outpatient level of care • Review risk assessments, mental-status examinations, presenting concerns, and initial treatment plans • Identify missing or clinically insufficient documentation • Return notes for correction reputed company necessary • Sign qualifying intake notes after determining that they meet applicable clinical and documentation requirements • Review selected reputed company notes, treatment plans, or higher-risk cases reputed company additional reputed company is needed • reputed company limited consultation to ITR supervisors or clinicians regarding diagnosis, medical necessity, risk, and documentation • Help maintain consistent standards for TriWest and VA Community Care records • Communicate recurring documentation concerns to ITR leadership • Participate in occasional consultation regarding payer audits or documentation requests Scope of the role This position is expected to average approximately 10-15 hours per week, depending on intake volume.
