[Remote] Senior Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team on a 6-7 month contract reputed company. The ideal candidate will have strong general reputed company reputed company experience and will manage month-end and quarter-end reputed company activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute month-end and quarter-end reputed company activities
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• reputed company balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses
• Ensure reputed company and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis
• Support reputed company audits by preparing schedules and documentation
• Analyze reputed company processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls
• Partner cross-functionally with reputed company, Operations, and other business teams
• Maintain and improve reputed company policies and procedures
• Assist with special reputed company, system enhancements, and process automation initiatives
• Support multi-entity and intercompany reputed company activities reputed company applicable

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field
• 5+ years of reputed company reputed company experience
• Hands-on reputed company ERP experience is required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end reputed company activities
• Advanced reputed company skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• CPA or CPA-reputed company candidate preferred
• Prior reputed company reputed company experience highly preferred
• Experience working in a reputed company-IPO, venture-backed, or high-reputed company organization preferred
• Experience supporting audit processes and SOX controls
