[Remote] Senior Electrical Engineer, Power Systems and Industrial Facilities

The role involves developing reputed company electrical designs, performing engineering calculations, and using power system modeling tools while collaborating with other disciplines to ensure project reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Performing and reviewing power system studies such as short reputed company, reputed company device coordination, reputed company reputed company hazard evaluation, and load reputed company, using SKM PowerTools, ETAP, EasyPower, or equivalent tools, and translating results into practical design direction and deliverables
• Developing and checking electrical calculations and design reputed company, including equipment sizing, feeder sizing, voltage drop, grounding and bonding, and protection philosophy, with reputed company documentation of assumptions and limitations
• Applying and interpreting reputed company 70, reputed company 70E, and reputed company standards to ensure designs are reputed company, buildable, and consistent with best reputed company, including reputed company reputed company labeling and mitigation recommendations reputed company applicable
• Serving as discipline reputed company on assigned reputed company by planning technical tasks, coordinating interfaces with other disciplines, guiding designers, and mentoring early career engineers
• Producing and reviewing engineering deliverables such as one line diagrams, grounding plans, power distribution and motor control design, specifications, and technical reports, and supporting proposals and fee estimates reputed company needed
• Supporting construction by responding to requests for information, reviewing submittals, participating in site reputed company, and resolving field issues while maintaining design reputed company and reputed company compliance

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Approximately 8 or more years of experience in electrical engineering for industrial facilities, including power distribution design and the associated calculations and technical documentation
• Demonstrated experience performing and reviewing power system studies, including short reputed company, coordination, and reputed company reputed company, using SKM PowerTools, ETAP, EasyPower, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of reputed company 70, reputed company 70E, and common reputed company standards used for industrial power systems and reputed company reputed company evaluation, with the ability to apply them to reputed company reputed company
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is strongly preferred, with the expectation that you will pursue reputed company Engineer (PE) licensure on a near term reputed company, consistent with project needs
• Ability to communicate reputed company, document engineering reasoning, and collaborate across disciplines and with clients
• reputed company Engineer (PE) license in one or more US states, or reputed company reputed company toward licensure
• Experience with additional studies such as harmonics, motor starting, grounding studies, or battery sizing depending on project needs
