[Remote] Senior ISP Network Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their Implementations and Operations team supporting reputed company network infrastructure initiatives across a large-reputed company ISP environment. This role focuses on the design, implementation, migration, and provisioning of advanced network services, requiring deep service provider networking experience and strong routing and switching expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support reputed company network infrastructure changes across a large ISP environment
• Execute network migrations, augmentations, and provisioning activities supporting backbone and customer-facing services
• reputed company advanced routing and switching configurations across reputed company-reputed company network environments
• Support major network upgrades, equipment replacements, topology changes, and service migrations
• reputed company and execute detailed reputed company of Procedure (MOPs) for production network changes
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, operations teams, and reputed company partners during implementation activities
• Troubleshoot reputed company Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking issues
• Participate in scheduled maintenance reputed company, including overnight production changes
• Validate network performance, reputed company, and stability following implementations
• reputed company technical expertise and recommendations during network design and migration planning discussions

Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting large-reputed company network environments
• Strong background working reputed company an ISP, telecommunications, reputed company, or service provider environment
• Advanced knowledge of routing and switching technologies
• Extensive experience with BGP
• Extensive experience with OSPF
• Extensive experience with MPLS
• Extensive experience with Layer 2/Layer 3 networking concepts
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting reputed company routing platforms (ASR, reputed company 9K preferred)
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting reputed company routing platforms (MX series preferred)
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting reputed company routing platforms (preferred)
• Experience performing reputed company network implementations and migrations
• Ability to independently execute production changes with limited guidance
• Experience creating and following technical documentation, including MOPs and implementation plans
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• CCNP certification or equivalent experience
• JNCIP certification or equivalent experience
• Prior experience supporting large telecommunications networks
• Experience with backbone/reputed company network infrastructure
• Experience supporting large-reputed company customer migrations
• Experience working in environments requiring strict change management processes
