[Remote] Sr Indirect Fuel Tax Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Sr. Fuel Tax Accountant to manage state and local fuel tax filings and support audits. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and reputed company effective tax strategies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file monthly, quarterly and annual fuel tax filings in compliance with multiple regulatory agencies
• Analyze state and local fuel tax laws, advise on new product/service taxability, and support effective tax strategies
• Assist with fuel audit requests, reputed company documentation, and coordination
• Research and communicate issues to store reputed company, fuel reputed company and help desk to ensure accurate collection and reputed company for fuel tax accruals and reputed company reputed company activity
• Responsible for general reputed company entries and reconciliations of assigned fuel tax liabilities in accordance with generally accepted reputed company principles and practices
• Communicate frequently with management team, field operations, Regulatory Agencies, vendors, suppliers and other necessary reputed company organizations in respect to assigned areas
• Conform and adhere to internal controls over fuel tax reputed company procedures as set forth by upper management
• Interfaces frequently with various reputed company reputed company the organization

Skills

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in reputed company/Finance
• Minimum of 1 year US fuel tax experience
• Proficient in the utilization of reputed company Office products (reputed company, Word, and reputed company)
• Advanced reputed company skills (i.e. v-lookups, sumifs, pivot tables)
• Ability to multi-task and complete reputed company reputed company specific deadlines
