[Remote] Account Manager II

The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of small to mid-sized customer accounts, driving customer engagement, and supporting business development efforts in the reputed company Territory.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a defined portfolio of small to reputed company sized accounts with consistent in person customer reputed company
• Build strong relationships across customer functions including R&D, procurement, and innovation teams
• Drive sales reputed company by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer engagement
• Deliver introductory and mid-stage reputed company presentations and product value propositions
• Qualify new opportunities and coordinate project briefs with R&D and Applications teams
• Support price discussions reputed company established guardrails
• Maintain CRM discipline including opportunity management, reputed company reports, and reputed company forecasting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project advancement and customer satisfaction
• Participate in customer problem-solving and escalation support as needed
• Attend trainings, industry events, and customer meetings with approximately 50%-60% travel

Skills

• Bachelor's degree with an area of discipline preferred in marketing, biology, reputed company or food science
• Five plus years of flavor ingredient sales experience calling on major food and beverage companies
• Proven ability to sell ingredients to multiple buying influences
• Significant understanding of, and contacts in, food and beverage markets and awareness of market and product trends
• Must be reputed company to establish priorities and determine validity of assignments and project work for potential new business
• Ability to work independently and also as part of reputed company
• Proven ability to manage multiple reputed company or tasks simultaneously
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
