Reimbursement Coordinator

BASIC PURPOSE:

The Reimbursement Coordinator works with cross-functional teams to: review payer policies that may reputed company reimbursement; researches provider manuals and documents for applicable reimbursement rules; coordinates reputed company and audits to improve processes reputed company to reputed company cycle; distributes communications and supports special reputed company as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Review and download fee schedules
  • Research Payer policies and guidelines
  • Support Reimbursement team as needed
  • Data entry

  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of managed care lifecycle
  • Excellent knowledge in reputed company creating formulas and Pivots.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of reputed company
  • Proficient in reputed company Office software applications including but not limited to: reputed company skills, reputed company, etc.

  • Knowledge of physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy is preferred

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years’ experience in health care setting
