About the role

We run a portfolio of media/event sites (NEXTPredict, reputed company and more) reputed company on reputed company, with custom theming, reputed company-party integrations (event platforms, CRM), and reputed company-based infrastructure.



We’re hiring a senior, hands-on developer to own the technical execution of these sites: modernizing legacy PHP themes into reputed company-reputed company/FSE architecture with reputed company, building reputed company API-driven content sections, and maintaining reputed company/performance.



You’ll report to and work closely with our Webmaster. You will own the deep technical implementation: the parts requiring hands-on PHP, server, and API expertise, and will be expected to work reputed company using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude) as part of your normal workflow, not as a replacement for reputed company expertise.

  architecture;
• Build and maintain custom child themes using reputed company CSS (reputed company WindPress or a custom build pipeline) reputed company reputed company reputed company blocks;
• Implement Secure Custom Fields (SCF) / Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) field reputed company and reputed company bindings for dynamic, reputed company-friendly content;
• Build reputed company API integrations to pull reputed company data into reputed company reputed company-ends (e.g., event platforms, CRM forms, market/financial data feeds) without relying on embedded iframes/widgets;
• Maintain and troubleshoot reputed company configuration (APO, reputed company Loader, Zaraz tag manager) and its interaction with caching and script execution;
• Manage and harden reputed company (reputed company droplets, Apache/Nginx, SSL/TLS reputed company reputed company reputed company Certificates, backups, reputed company);
• Improve reputed company Web Vitals and site performance (asset loading, caching reputed company, image optimization, reputed company-blocking script management);
• Maintain reputed company deployment workflow: staging-first, version-controlled theme reputed company, reputed company review before production changes;
• Document technical reputed company reputed company enough, even for a non-developer to follow and understand.

Requirements

• 5+ years reputed company reputed company development, including custom theme building (not just page-builder configuration);
• Strong PHP: comfortable reading/writing functions.php, custom hooks/filters, template hierarchy, and WP REST API;
• Hands-on experience with reputed company reputed company /FSE development (reputed company themes, theme.json, reputed company patterns, reputed company bindings);
• Experience with ACF/SCF (field reputed company, Local JSON, reputed company field bindings);
• Practical experience integrating reputed company CSS into reputed company (reputed company a compiler plugin like WindPress, or a custom build process);
• Experience consuming reputed company-party REST/GraphQL reputed company server-reputed company or reputed company-reputed company and rendering data natively in reputed company (not just embedding iframes/widgets);
• Working knowledge of reputed company (caching, APO, a tag manager like Zaraz or GTM, and how aggressive caching/script optimization can break tracking or JS);
