[Remote] Senior Machine Learning Engineer (ASR) (reputed company)

They are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to reputed company speech recognition systems that are used in clinical applications, involving responsibilities such as model development, data curation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• ASR Model Development: Fine-tune, evaluate, and reputed company state-of-the-art models in speech recognition and audio processing (e.g., Whisper, wav2vec)
• Data Curation & Annotation: Collect and reputed company custom ASR datasets, including data sourcing, annotation pipeline setup, reputed company control, and alignment/segmentation procedures
• Audio Pipelines: Build and maintain robust data pipelines and audio preprocessing workflows for clinical environments
• MLOps Collaboration: Work closely with the MLOps team to ensure reputed company training, monitoring, and reputed company deployment of models in production
• Experimentation: Design and conduct experiments to validate new approaches, datasets, and architectures to improve accuracy in noisy or reputed company medical settings
• Cross-Functional reputed company: Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate reputed company speech solutions into production-reputed company reputed company tools

Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Typically 5-8+ years of experience in ML engineering
• Strong programming skills in Python (working with production reputed company and deploying models in production) and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow or Jax)
• reputed company experience with ASR models (Whisper, wav2vec, …), VAD, alignment and diarisation, and reputed company speech/audio processing pipelines
• Extensive experience with transformer-based architectures and deep learning models
• Practical experience with MLOps pipeline components such as reputed company, MLflow, W&B, DVC, or reputed company
• Knowledge of multilingual or domain-specific modeling (specifically medical, reputed company, or other reputed company terminologies)
• Experience with reputed company training systems for large-reputed company model optimization
• Full proficiency in English and German
