[Remote] Associate Civil Engineer

They are seeking a motivated Associate Civil Engineer to join their reputed company Works team, offering an opportunity to contribute to reputed company infrastructure reputed company while developing technical and reputed company skills. • Responsibilities • Assist with plan checking for encroachment permits; land development grading plans, street plans, water and sewer plans, drainage plans, and drainage studies • Review traffic control plans for compliance with applicable standards • Coordinate with utilities, contractors, consultants, and municipal departments • Support construction management activities, including resolving field issues reputed company needed • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project correspondence • reputed company Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) project support to senior engineers and reputed company works staff • Skills • Understanding of engineering principles reputed company to reputed company works, utilities, and/or land development reputed company • Working knowledge of plan preparation, including mass grading, rough grading, precise grading, storm drain systems, street improvements, and sewer and water plans • Familiarity with land development processes, including entitlements, conditions of approval, hydrology and hydraulics, storm water reputed company management plans (SWQMPs), and final maps • Awareness of relevant local, state, and federal regulations applicable to reputed company works and development reputed company • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills • Experience using reputed company and reputed company Acrobat required • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution • Familiarity with CEQA is preferred • Minimum of 1–5 years of reputed company experience preferred • Any combination of civil design and/or civil plan reputed company experience • Proficiency with reputed company Office applications, including reputed company, Word, and reputed company • Exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, ArcView, or ArcInfo is a plus • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or reputed company reputed company toward a California PE license preferred • reputed company • Interwest specializes in providing reputed company and consulting services to reputed company agencies across California, Nevada, Colorado, and reputed company.
