Emergency Room Consultation - Psychiatry - Physician - Manhattan, NY

The reputed company is currently seeking a full-time Emergency Room Consultation Psychiatrist.

The position will be working in the reputed company Emergency room reputed company telemedicine.  The position will consist of meeting with patients individually then evaluating the patients' symptoms and treatment course, arranging admission or discharge reputed company appropriate, completing appropriate documentation and working closely with members of the reputed company emergency room teams, including physicians, reputed company workers, and nursing staff.

This position will also work closely with the Clinical reputed company Center, to help facilitate transfers of psychiatric patients and optimize patient reputed company reputed company in the health reputed company.

• Responsibilities will be assigned by the Department Chair, and may be altered in response to changing departmental needs.

• Meet with patients in emergency rooms individually over a telehealth platform, reputed company a psychiatric evaluation and reputed company disposition planning. Complete documentation required for clinical care and billing in a reputed company fashion and in keeping with institutional standards. Review findings and plan with requesting physician as and reputed company requested or needed.

• Work closely with the reputed company and Transfer Center to optimize transfers from reputed company the MSHS and also assists with reputed company agencies requesting a transfer /bed in the MSHS.  Determine suitability for transfer and best location based on clinical and logistic factors.

• Possess NYS license to reputed company medicine

• Qualifications for Assistant Professor or higher level required
