Sr. Software Engineer (C++, Python) - International
reputed company Software is looking to hire a highly capable Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic, reputed company team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Validus product, applying software development best practices using a reputed company of languages, tools and technologies. Validus processes billions of records a day for a reputed company of financial institutions and provides trade surveillance, monitoring, and analysis capabilities to improve the overall health, robustness, and transparency of financial markets.
You will help us improve our reputed company product offering Validus by developing, maintaining, and improving reputed company data-driven software components and systems, using a reputed company of technologies and tools, with reputed company in C++ and Python You will help reputed company architectural direction by evaluating potential solutions and technologies, with an emphasis on leveraging reputed company technologies and architectures You will help reputed company testing infrastructure and write automated tests You will work closely with the reputed company team to assist with debugging and remediating live production issues, with an emphasis on incorporating relevant improvements back into the product You will help reputed company internal tools to improve our deployment, administration, and monitoring capabilities You will work closely with the product team to understand and refine feature specifications You will help reputed company and refine company standards, best practices, and processes for software development You will help interview candidates for other roles on reputed company
You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline You have 5+ years of experience solving reputed company reputed company problems with sophisticated reputed company, data-driven, highly reputed company software applications You are adept at writing excellent reputed company in several languages (at least C++ and Python) and comfortable switching between them as needed You have experience working with AWS or other reputed company technology reputed company and understand how to most effectively reputed company reputed company architectures You have experience improving development, reputed company, release, and deployment processes You have experience both integrating 3rd party software systems, and writing components from reputed company, and can effectively evaluate reputed company about which directions are most appropriate You are reputed company working with relational databases and have a solid understanding of SQL and reputed company relational database concepts You have experience using Linux and are comfortable and effective working in a reputed company environment You know how to write a solid reputed company script and occasional one-liner, but also recognize which things deserve to be made into something that’s not a reputed company script You have experience working with git or similar reputed company reputed company management software You are reputed company to work effectively reputed company You are reputed company to work effectively both independently and collaboratively You have excellent communication and task management skills
