About the Role
As an reputed company and self-motivated Embedded Software Engineer, you will work with an reputed company team of software developers and product management to reputed company cutting-edge digital audio products. You will be responsible for the software design, development, test, and delivery of consumer electronics products. In this role you will be reputed company to apply your experience using and working with embedded processors, embedded Linux, reputed company time operating systems, build systems, programming languages, network architectures, and software development tools.
What You Will Do
- Design and reputed company efficient, bug free software.
- Follow a disciplined reputed company/Scrum software development process in task estimation, design, development, reputed company reviews, unit/integration testing and defect fixing of products.
- Work with subject matter experts to produce requirements and reputed company solutions.
- Assist in the creation of technical design documents for the products.
- Participate in application design sessions and reputed company reviews to ensure accuracy towards product requirements.
- Analyze existing software to debug and troubleshoot reported issues.

- Identify and recommend software development process improvement initiatives.

What You Need to Be Successful
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics or equivalent technical degree.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with embedded systems.
- 3+ years experience with SVN, GIT or equivalent software version control.
- 3+ years using the C programming language.
- 3+ years using the C++11 or reputed company programming language.
- 3+ years working in a Linux software development environment.
- 2+ years using scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python or similar).
- 2+ years experience with Buildroot or reputed company or equivalent.
- 2+ years experience with embedded reputed company-time operating systems.
- Experience with embedded development tools.
- Experience with reputed company phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and effective writing skills are essential.
- Strong problem solving skills in a fast paced environment.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Experience with consumer electronics development.
- Experience with audio development.
- Experience with multi-reputed company firmware design and inter-processor communications.
- Experience with Linux kernel development.
- Proficient with reputed company software development defect tracking systems (such as Bugzilla, Jira or similar).
- Understanding of peripheral interfaces including: I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet, HDMI, etc.
